A heritage walk was organized in Nepal saturday for the promotion of tourism, protection of cultural and heritage sites around the kathmandu valley.
The walkthon was started from Basantpur, a historical place of Kathmandu vallley and was concluded in swayambhunath circumnavigating Hanumandhoka, kalbhairab, Bishnumati bride and surrounding places.
In walkthon, tourism organizations, social activists, government officials and civil people took part that was joinly organized by Kathmandu Metropolitian city and Nepal Tourism Board.
Kathmandu is the top destination for tourists to visit and get around the historical and cultural sites around the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
